BRIEF ON CBN MINISTRY
CBN stands for Christ By Nature
CBN is the TEENS department of the Kahawa West Baptist Church.
Pursuant to Article 6.1 of KWBC Constitution, the department is mandated to:
- minister to teenagers of between thirteen (13) years and seventeen (17) years of age;
- organize programs to reach and enhance Spiritual growth of children who graduate from Sunday school and who are in transition to youth;
- plan and run a teens service concurrent with other church worship services and treated as a bona fide service requiring all the services offered such as The Lord’s Table
Every 1st quarter of the year, we receive thirteen-year-old children from Junior CBN and every year we churn out Form Four leavers to join the Youth Department.
CBN Vision
