- We believe that the bible is God’s own word to all people. It is the only authority for a Christian in his faith and action (II Tim. 3:16).
- We believe in God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Deutrom 6:4, 1John 5:7)
- We believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe that church members must be born again in faith through confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. This should happen before acceptance to church membership (II Cor. 5:17).
- We believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that He is at the right hand side of God interceding for us believers (1 Corin 15:1-4, 15:19)
- We believe that the New Testament Christians were baptized before partaking of the Lord’s Supper with other Christians. (Acts 2:41, 47).
- We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and not based on our works (Rom 5:1, 8:14-16, Eph 2:8-9)
- We believe that every Christian has spiritual gifts. These gifts are to equip the believer and to build up the body of Christ, the church (I Cor. 12:4-7: 4:11-13)
- We believe that each church member has a right to participate in the leadership, planning and conduct of the church. A Baptist church is governed by its members and is not under any group of people outside the church.
- We believe that any person is free to decide on religion without being forced by others.
- We believe that a church will govern itself but should work together with other churches as it is being directed by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that marriage as was ordained by God is between one man and one woman (Gen 2:18-25)
- We believe little children should be brought to church to be taught the ways and word of God (Proverbs 22:6)
- We believe children are dedicated to the Lord but not baptized until they are of age and have made a decision to be saved by our Lord Jesus Christ (Mattt. 19:14)
- We believe in total freedom of the church and separation between the church and the government.
- We believe in obeying the laws and authority of our nation.
