Ministry definition
This is a ministry of Kahawa west Baptist church directly under the pastoral office and a deacon who stands as patron.
Mission statement
We are committed to helping people experience God’s presence through spiritual songs of praise and worship in order that they may grow to know, love, and serve Him.
Guiding scripture
Psalm 95:1-7
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship let us kneel before the lord our maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.

- We will endeavour to be accountable to God and each other. Our lives will be reflection of what we stand for. To this end, we will be TRUTHFUL AND HONEST with each other and regards to our conduct as we are each others keeper.
- We will faithfully attend all meetings/sessions organized by the group unless under unavoidable circumstances of which the coordinator must be made aware in advance.

Members may however be called on from time to time to attend ad hoc meetings and practice sessions especially when situations demand.
- Failure to attend meetings and practices sessions without a valid reason will lead to suspension from active service for a duration of time. Continued absence and disobedience of leaders may lead to expulsion from the team.
- Dressing must be modest and decent. We must strive to be models both in form and in content.
- Any dispute regarding the group to be addressed through coordinator. Before any matter can be referred elsewhere, all effort towards its resolution should be made WITHIN the group. If unresolved at this level, the matter may be referred to the Patron or the Pastor in charge.
